Dr. Phoebe Williams, founder of Hands of Help (an NGO in Australia), last year announced a partnership with African Kids in Need to offer scholarships to qualified Kenyan students who wished to study science at the college level. As a result, we were able to admit thirteen students to universities where they will pursue degrees in nursing, laboratory science and even medicine. A.K.I.N. is grateful for the opportunity this grant affords us to help even more Kenyan students become leaders in their emerging country.
