a.k.i.n. is now accepting major credit cards, checks and PayPal.

That's $100 per donor, from 500 donors. This will pay for the educational expenses of all of the students currently enrolled in our program.

African Kids In Need was recently registered as an NGO in Kenya. AKIN has identified these goals for the immediate future:

1. Assist current vocational college students with counseling to help them find employment after graduating from their programs at the end of this year.
2. Explore ways to improve the academic performances of the secondary school students by providing additional tutoring outside the regular classroom.
3. Look for opportunities at universities inside and outside of Kenya for students who are interested in going beyond the secondary level.
4. Continue to expand the program in order to provide higher education for as many former residents of St. Francis Integrated School and their siblings as possible.
5. Coordinate all efforts with officials of the Department of Children’s Services, and continually work to evaluate and improve the program.
